The Lynn Tech boys soccer team put it all together in a 8-1 win over Lynn rival KIPP Monday at Manning Field.

“We actually started out a little slow in the first 15 minutes,” Tech coach Eric Moreno Sr. said. “But I talked to the guys, told them we had to pick it up and we were able to get it going the rest of the game.”

Brian Barrera and Bibek Gurung led the way for the Tiger with two goals each. Adiel Menjivar, Geovani Solis, Gregoire Amissi and Manish Pulami each added one goal in the win.

“It was a really good offensive effort because we got it from everywhere,” Moreno said. “Even some of our defenders came up and had goals (Monday).”

For KIPP, Jefferson Paz scored the lone goal on a penalty kick.

Tech (4-2-1) and KIPP (2-2-1) meet again Wednesday (4).
