Coronavirus cases, deaths reported in Lynn, Peabody, Revere, Saugus

Additional coronavirus cases and deaths were reported Monday in Lynn, Peabody, Revere and Saugus. 

Lynnfield, Salem and Swampscott also reported new cases. 

In Lynn, 12 new cases and an additional death were reported to bring the city’s total numbers to 16,658 cases and 209 deaths. A total of 324 cases remain active and 16,125 people have recovered, according to city data. 

Peabody has reported 34 new cases and three additional deaths since last Friday. The city now has 6,765 cases, 313 people have died, and 5,907 have recovered from the virus, the health department reported. 

Six new cases and two additional deaths were reported in Revere, which now has 10,274 cases and 161 deaths, according to the city website. 

In Saugus, 54 new cases and four additional deaths have been reported since last Thursday. The town now has 3,930 cases and 71 people have died, the town website reported. 

Lynnfield (1,138 cases, 29 deaths) reported 15 new cases; Salem (4,398 cases, 80 deaths) reported 39 new cases; Swampscott (1,085 cases, 19 deaths) reported 31 new cases; Nahant (246 cases, eight deaths) reported no change in its statistics; and numbers were not updated in Marblehead, which had 1,252 cases and 31 deaths as of last Friday.
