Lynn reported 75 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, which represents a significant increase over the 12 new cases that were reported a day earlier.
New cases were also reported in Lynnfield and Revere.
With Tuesday’s uptick, Lynn’s caseload now stands at 16,733, with 350 active cases. The city’s death toll is 209 and 16,174 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Lynnfield (1,144 cases, 29 deaths) reported six new cases, Revere (10,297 cases, 161 deaths) reported 23 new cases, Nahant (246 cases, eight deaths) reported no change in its statistics, and numbers were not updated in Marblehead, Peabody, Salem, Saugus or Swampscott.
As of Monday, Peabody had 6,765 cases and 313 deaths, Salem had 4,398 cases and 80 deaths, Saugus had 3,930 cases and 71 deaths, and Swampscott had 1,085 cases and 19 deaths. Marblehead (1,252 cases, 31 deaths) has not provided updated numbers since last Friday.
