New coronavirus cases were reported Thursday in Lynn, Revere, and Salem, but numbers remained unchanged in other communities.
In Lynn, 25 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 17,025. Of that total, 379 cases are active, 212 people have died, and 16,434 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Revere reported 29 new cases to bring the city’s total numbers to 10,536 cases and 161 deaths, the city website said.
In Salem, 24 new cases were reported to bring the city’s total number of cases to 4,524. Eighty people have died, the city reported.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (1,166 cases, 29 deaths) and Nahant (246 cases, eight deaths), and were not updated in Marblehead, Peabody, Saugus or Swampscott.
Peabody had 6,939 cases and 314 deaths as of Wednesday, Saugus had 4,016 cases and 71 deaths as of Tuesday, Marblehead had 1,268 cases and 31 deaths as of last Friday, and numbers have not been updated in Swampscott (1,097 cases, 19 deaths) since last Thursday.
