To the editor:
I want to thank all that have given kind words and well wishes. I really do appreciate them. It doesn’t seem like 20 years, but I am very proud to have served the Lynn school community.
I always took the job very seriously and stand by any vote that I have taken. I want to express thanks to my wife, daughters and my entire family for their support. Also, a special thanks to all those over the years who have supported me on the campaign trail and at the polls. No politician can survive without constituent support.
It isn’t an easy decision to not seek re-election, but I believe that the time has come to move on. I wish my fellow School Committee members another two years and great success in the future. Thank you to all.
