The Revere boys soccer team is moving on to the Greater Boston League semifinals after a 3-0 home win over Lynn Classical Friday.

Diego Salcedo scored two goals, while Octavio Buenrostro assisted all three goals for Revere. Estiven Vasco scored one goal.

Classical said goodbye to three seniors who played their final game in the green and gold — Anthony Evelyn, Mortada Al-Shiblawi and Kyle Cheer.

“Those three went out there and really enjoyed their final game,” Classical coach Eric Moreno Jr. said. “I felt how much they wanted to be out there and it was definitely a little emotional.”

Overall the Rams return most of their young squad for next season.

“We were patient and gave our best effort all season long,” Moreno said. “We grew a lot. I kind of lucked out with it being a rebuilding year. Next year we’ll be better equipped for our first full GBL season, defending the Lynn City title we’ve had for three years and preparing for a state tournament. We’re excited for a full offseason.

Revere will host Lynn English in the GBL playoff semifinals Monday (TBD).
