To the editor:
Last month, my letter to the editor focused on cleaning up the litter in front of the local businesses.
Today’s focus is the entire city, especially on our main roads, including Boston Street and Western Avenue — just to name a few.
Most of the trash comes from all of the fast food restaurants, and I notice on most days the Pine Grove Cemetery workers cleaning it up in front of the entire property line.
It’s time for the Trash and Litter Committee to focus on cleaning up the city by getting residents involved. We can make this happen. This may also help with containing the rat population.
It’s time for action.
