Coronavirus cases continued to slow on the North Shore Tuesday, as only a handful of new cases were seen in Lynn, Revere and Salem.
In Lynn, three new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 17,628. Of that total, 127 cases are active, 216 people have died, and 17,285 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Revere (10,955 cases, 163 deaths) reported five new cases; Salem (4,759 cases, 81 deaths) reported nine new cases; no change was reported in Lynnfield (1,210 cases, 29 deaths) and Nahant (253 cases, nine deaths); and numbers were not updated in Marblehead, Peabody, Saugus and Swampscott.
Peabody had 7,245 cases and 321 deaths as of Monday, Marblehead had 1,336 cases and 31 deaths as of last Friday, Swampscott had 1,161 cases and 19 deaths as of May 10, and Saugus (4,129 cases, 72 deaths) has not provided updated numbers since April 29.
