Mobile food pantry to take place at Brother’s Deli in Lynn

LYNN — Brother’s Deli and the Brickyard Collaborative are teaming up to host a pop-up, drive-through mobile food pantry on Wednesday at Brother’s Deli, located at 41 Market St. 

This no-contact, drive-through or walk-up food pantry will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, while supplies last. 

The boxes weigh about 30 pounds and will contain a variety of food including five pounds of potatoes; three pounds of onions; one pound of root vegetables, such as carrots or beets; and three pounds of apples or oranges. 

The boxes will also contain a gallon of milk; four pounds of soft dairy, such as yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese or butter; four pounds of cheese; four pounds of cooked protein, such as  roasted chicken quarters or ground turkey; and one pound of deli meat, such as chicken or hot dogs.
