LYNN — A 35-year-old Lynn man shot Monday night has died from his injuries, the Essex County District Attorney’s office said.
Police responded to 234 South Common St. shortly after 8:30 p.m. to find Brian Poitras, who resided at the address, suffering from a gunshot wound, the DA’s office said.
Poitras was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the DA’s office said.
The shooting is under investigation by the DA’s office, State Police detectives assigned to the DA’s office, and Lynn Police.
