LYNN — Superintendent of Schools Dr. Patrick Tutwiler announced on Monday that the district will follow a half-day schedule on Tuesday due to extreme heat.
There will be no afternoon classes for pre-K and kindergarten.
Callahan, Drewicz, Fallon, Ford, Harrington, Ingalls, Sisson and Washington elementary schools will be dismissed at 10:45 a.m.
Aborn, Brickett, Cobbet, Connery, Hood, Lincoln-Thomson, Lynn Woods, Sewell-Anderson, Shoemaker and Tracy elementary schools and Breed Middle School will be released at 11:15 a.m.
Classical and English high schools, Lynn Technical Vocational Institute, Fecteau-Leary Junior/Senior High School, and Marshall and Pickering middle schools will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.
The staggered special education programs at Callahan, Fallon, Hood, Ingalls, Lincoln-Thomson, Lynn Woods, Sisson and Fecteau-Leary will be in school from 7:45 to 10:45 a.m.
The special education programs at Brickett, Cobbet, Connery, Drewicz, Harrington, Washington and Lynn Tech will go from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The special education programs at Classical, English, Breed, Marshall, Pickering and Shoemaker will go from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
