LYNN — A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the murder of his 80-year-old mother, who was found dead in her Jenness Street home Friday night.
Alfredo Paratore is accused of killing his mother, Katherine Paratore, whom he was living with at 112 Jenness St., and will be arraigned on a murder charge Monday in Lynn District Court, the Essex County District Attorney’s office said.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Friday, Lynn Police and Fire responded to a report of a deceased woman at the home and found Katherine Paratore inside, suffering from multiple injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene, the DA’s office said.
Alfredo Paratore was later arrested for the murder, which is under investigation by the DA’s office, Lynn Police and the Essex State Police Detective Unit.
