SALEM — Police have reported that over the past week, officers have responded to several incidents of arrows shot at the exterior of buildings.
The arrows have been spotted in both south and north Salem and are believed to have occurred during the nighttime hours.
Minor property damage resulted from these incidents, but no injuries have been reported.
Police are asking anyone who has experienced a similar incident at their residence or business and has not yet reported the matter to the police to please call 978-744-1212.
The police department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the
perpetrator(s) of these crimes.
Anyone with information is requested to call the city’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) at 978-745-9700 or the anonymous tip line at 978-619-5627 — callers’ names and other forms of identification are not required if dialing the latter number.
