Lynn Woods Summer Running wraps fourth session

Lynn Woods Running completed its fourth session of the summer on Wednesday with another trio of races ranging from a 1.57-mile kids race to a 5.5-mile adult race.

Lynn 11-year-old Eli Osgood set the pace for the pack of 17 runners in the kids race, winning with a time of 15:37. Next up was Billerica’s Liam Fay (5, 16:05) placing second just outrunning the Lynnfield pair of Elle Ferguson (6, 16:06) and Emily Conlon (6, 16:07). Next up was another pack of Lynnfield natives in Brielle Hutter (8, 18:35), Lucy Rosencranz (8, 18:36), Maya Rosencranz (5, 18:47) and Julia Hutter (5, 18:48). Rounding out the rave was Lynn’s Drayko Phoutsakanh (8, 21:09) and Patrice Conlon (4, 21:14), Lynnfield’s Nora Hutter (10, 22:09), Lynn’s Carter Cheever (4, 24:03), Lynnfield’s Charlotte Mcmanus (9, 24:36), Lynn’s Bridgette Lally (5, 24:39), Lynnfield’s Grace Mcmanus (6, 24:59) and Salem’s Abigail Lamothe (4, 28:09) and Layla Morrison (4, 38:33).

The first adult race was a 2.55 mile run along the Overlook Crag, called the “Mini Tour de Woods.”

Nahant’s Steve Dickenson won the race with a time of 20:23. Former Lynn Classical track standout Rachel Brennan (21:09) placed second and Lynn’s Brian Beaulieu (21:28) placed third. Reading’s Dave Singer finished next (21:55) while Melrose’s Andrew Skeirik earned another top-five finish (22:43).

Rounding out the top 10 finishers were Lynnfield’s Nate Rosencranz (22:48) and Brian Hutter (22:50), Wakefield’s Peter Swain (23:03), Peabody’s Andrea Saccardo (23:08) and Melrose’s Daniel Skeirik (25:38).

The longest race of the session, a 5.5 mile run called the “Tour de Woods,” was won handily by Revere’s Eduarao Serpa with a time of 43:27. Lynn’s Matt Viega (48:08), Winthrop’s Nikolas Beshere (48:16), Lynn’s Nakri Dao (48:21) and Saugus’ Steven Bennett (49:55) rounded out a North Shore-heavy top five. Top 10 finishers included Boxford’s Michael McKie (50:01), Beverly’s Erich O’Neil (53:38), Boxford’s Jeff Hixon (53:52), Lynn’s Sean Bailey (55:34) and Watertown’s Emily Andrews (56:04).
