LYNN — As the vaccine rollout continues, the Lynn Community Health Center is hosting community-based events to promote the COVID-19 vaccine and to encourage people to get vaccinated.
Ciao Cafe and Bistro, located at 41 Sutton St., is hosting a community meal and COVID-19 vaccine event from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, where the Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines will be distributed.
This event will also consist of an informational discussion about the vaccines and will provide health insurance enrollment information and assistance.
In addition to this event, the health center will host mobile vaccine sessions on Wednesdays at Vision Cristiana at 333 Union St. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; on Thursdays at Visitation Church at 97 Broad St. from 1 to 6:30 p.m.; on Fridays and Sundays at Iglesia de Dios de la Profecia at 25 Elmwood Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and on the second, third, fourth and fifth Friday of the month at St. Stephens Church at 74 S Common St. from 2 to 4 p.m.
All of these vaccine sessions will offer the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
