LYNNFIELD — The body of a New Hampshire man was found on the shoulder of Route 1 North Friday morning.
According to State Police spokesman Dave Procopio, Massachusetts State Police responded to a report from a passing motorist at approximately 7:45 a.m. and found the body of a deceased male near the Fat Cactus restaurant, at the bottom of a grassy embankment near the tree line. The right lane of the road was closed temporarily to facilitate the investigation.
The identity of the man has not been released.
