MARBLEHEAD — State Street landing will be hosting a free marine fair to showcase the best marine craftsmen and companies the town has to offer.
On Sunday at 10 a.m. the event will celebrate Marblehead’s long-standing maritime history and the deep talent pool of marine professionals who carry on that legacy. The parking lot will showcase a variety of boats and there will be many different types of table exhibits.
There will also be live music, family-friendly activities and lots of refreshments — including a lobster bar manned by the Landing Restaurant’s new celebrity chef, Alex Pineda. There will even be a CW Hood boat parade off the landing to commemorate the event.
The harbormaster noted that walking and biking is recommended as there will not be any parking available in the parking lot at 75 Front St.
