DANVERS — The Flutie Foundation has donated $25,000 to the Northeast Arc’s newest program, The Center for Linking Lives, which provides opportunities for disabled individuals.
The center, which is located at the Liberty Tree Mall, is a place for people with disabilities to gather and interact with other community members on the North Shore. The center also features parcels, a store where every item is either made by a person with disabilities or autism, or comes from a company that is owned by a disabled or autistic person.
“The Center for Linking Lives will help serve the diverse needs of so many families,” said Doug Flutie, president and co-founder of the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism. “This partnership will help us work towards our vision of a world where all people with autism are included, respected and engaged in their communities.”
