Football Roundup: St. Mary’s stays unbeaten with win over Bishop Feehan

For the second week in a row, the underdog St. Mary’s football knocked off a previously unbeaten team and kept their undefeated record intact on the road. 

This time, the Spartans took down Catholic Central League foe Bishop Feehan by a score of 28-14.

David Brown Jr. once again had a huge game with three rushing touchdowns, while Derek Coulanges added a rushing touchdown of his own in the win.

St. Mary’s (3-0) plays on the road at rival Bishop Fenwick Friday (7).

FOOTBALL

St. John’s Prep 42, Haverhill 6

Quarterback Victor Harrington went 7-for-8 for 153 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while also rushing for a touchdown in the win. Running back James Guy added two rushing scores, while receivers Jackson Delaney and Jesse Ofurie each caught one touchdown.

St. John’s Prep (3-0) plays on the road at Bridgewater-Raynham Friday (7).

Revere 34, Medford 6

Mark Marchese rushed for two touchdowns — including a 55-yard jaunt — in the win for the Patriots. Davi Barreto also had two rushing touchdowns for the Patriots.

Revere (2-1) travels to Lynn English Friday (7).

Medway 10, Winthrop 8

Anthony Indrisano had the lone rushing touchdown for the Vikings in the hard-fought loss.

Winthrop (1-2) travels to Danvers Friday (7).

Swampscott 48, Gloucester 7

Big Blue quarterback Cam O’Brien lit up the turf at Blocksidge Field Friday night, throwing for 170 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Xaviah Bascon rushed for more than 100 yards and three touchdowns, while Elijah Burns had two touchdown receptions.

Swampscott (3-0) plays on the road at Saugus Friday (7).

Beverly 55, Peabody 35

Peabody quarterback Shea Lynch threw for three touchdowns and rushed for another, while receiver Eli Batista had two touchdown receptions. Jovante Dailey had one touchdown reception, while Colin Ridley returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown.

Peabody (1-2) hosts Marblehead Friday (7).

Marblehead 42, North Andover 8

Marblehead (3-0) travels to Peabody Friday (7).

Everett 42, Lynn English 0

English (0-3) hosts Revere Friday (7).

Salem 24, Greater Lawrence 6

Salem (2-1) hosts Gloucester Friday (7).
