The Lynn Tech boys soccer team is proving to be a dominant force on the pitch this fall, as the Tigers rolled to a 9-0 win over Nashoba Tech Friday afternoon. But even more impressive than Friday’s final score is this — Tech has not allowed a single goal in its seven games to date.
Gregiore Amissi led the offensive attack for Tech with three goals, while Christian Benitez and Erickson Licardie were close behind with two goals each. Kevin Yuman and Justin Torres each scored one goal in the win.
Tech (7-0) hosts Essex Tech Tuesday night (7:15).

St. Mary’s 2, Arlington Catholic 1
Senior Abby Constine and freshman Brooke Moloney eah scored one goal in the victory for the Spartans, while Olivia Egan, Riley Maguire and Meghan Lovett all played well.

Marblehead 3, Essex Tech 0
Samantha Dormer, Talia Shelby and Annie Sheridan each scored one goal in the win for the Magicians, while Lydia Bailey and Ava Machado each had one assist.

FIELD HOCKEY
Swampscott 1, Marblehead 0
The difference-making goal for the Big Blue was scored by Brooke Waters, while goalie Gabby Hause and Chloe Rakauskas combined for the shutout in net.

Goalie Haley Baker had three saves in the loss for the Magicians, while Jane O’Neil, Peighton Ridge, Mia Carr, Clara Donovan, Lillie Salisbury, Ella Gorham, Tegan Sherwood and Caoimhe McKiernan also played well.
Marblehead (1-3-1) hosts Saugus Wednesday (4:30).
Peabody 4, Saugus 0
Bella Decicco notched a hat trick in the win for the Tanners, while Shelby Racki had one goal and one assist. Jackie Scopa had two assists, while goalie Gianna DeGianfelice earned her first shutout of the season.
Peabody (2-5-0) hosts Revere Monday (4).
VOLLEYBALL
Peabody 3, Central Catholic 0
The Tanners earned the win by set scores of 25-20, 25-9, 25-8.
Kristina Cardello had a big night in the win for Peabody, notching 18 digs and two aces. Isabel Bettencourt had a team-high 14 kills to go along with two aces, while Abby Bettencourt had 27 assists and three kills. Michaela Alperen had a strong game at the service line.
Peabody travels to Saugus Tuesday (5:30).
