LYNN

Arrests 

Matthew Sanville, 46, of 5 Plantingfield Rd., Mansfield, was arrested for receiving a stolen vehicle at 5:03 p.m. Friday.  

Hector Lopez-lopez, 38, of 40 Smith St., was arrested for drinking in public at 7:20 p.m. Friday.

Amanda Falagan, of 100 Willow St., was arrested on warrant for assault and battery at 11:25 p.m. on Friday. 

Fernando Andino, 32, of 102 Henry Ave., was arrested on warrant for shoplifting by asportation, attempt to commit crime, breaking and entering, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and lights violation; and for additional misdemeanor of breaking and entering at 1:04 a.m. on Saturday.

Curtis Bragdon, 33, of 155 Nahant Rd., Nahant, was arrested and charged with the second offence of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and lights violation at 2:21 a.m. on Saturday. 

Meliton Ovalle, 24, of 127 Timson St., was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 10:17 a.m. Saturday.

Alex Gaudette, 32, of 391 Chatham St., was arrested on warrant for reckless operation of a motor vehicle, operation of an unregistered motor vehicle, moped violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operation under the influence of drugs, possession of class b drug, possession of class e drug, and shoplifting at 7:57 p.m. Saturday.

Tammy Murphy, 60, of 53 Campbell Ter., was arrested for assault and battery, assault and battery with dangerous weapon, and destruction of property at 04:04 a.m. Sunday.

A hit-and-run motor vehicle accident was reported at 11:03 a.m. Friday at Commercial Street at Lynnway; at 6:10 a.m. Saturday at 71 Rockaway St.; at 12:48 a.m. Saturday at 305 Chatham St.; at 4:44 p.m. Saturday at 45 Sachem St.; at 12:43 a.m. Sunday at 263 Summer St.; at 7:36 a.m. Sunday at 52 Clark St.

A motor vehicle accident with personal injury was reported at 4:37 p.m. Friday at O’Callaghan Way and Walnut Park; at 4:43 p.m. Friday at Harmon and Walnut streets; at 7:38 p.m. Saturday at 41 Sutton St.

Assault
An assault was reported at 1:38 p.m. Saturday on Lynn Shore Dr.

Breaking and Entering 

A report of breaking and entering at 12:16 p.m. Saturday at 72 Mall St., Apt. 5; at 7:55 p.m. Saturday at 145 Munroe St., Unit 305.

A report of past breaking and entering at 12:11 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church at 280 Broadway St.; at 12:27 p.m. Saturday at 118 Green St.

A report of a past motor vehicle breaking and entering at 11:32 a.m. Friday at 95 Buffum St.; at 5:25 p.m. Friday at 52 Baker St.; at 5:47 p.m. Saturday at 243 Cedar Brook Rd.; at 7:20 a.m. Sunday at 51 Willow St.

Fights

A fight was reported at 6:19 p.m. Friday at 170 Chestnut St.; at 3:22 a.m. Saturday at 7 Liberty Sq.

Gunshots

Gunshots were reported at 2:08 a.m. Saturday at Quincy Ter.; at 10:02 p.m. Saturday at Thurgood Marshall Middle School at 100 Brookline St. 

Overdoses
An overdose was reported at 3:40 p.m. Friday at 40 Federal St.; at 5:22 p.m. Friday at 780 Lynnway.

Trespassing

A report of trespassing at 8:05 a.m. Friday at 19 Union St.; at 9:07 a.m. Friday at 167 North Common St.; at 12:55 p.m. Friday at 35 Lynnfield St.; at 6:26 p.m. Friday at 95 Park St., Apt. 16; at 10:56 p.m. at 224 Washington St.; at 11:28 a.m. Saturday at 119 Lewis St., Apt. 15; at 2:50 p.m. Saturday at 50 South Common St.; at 7:06 p.m. Saturday at 100 Newhall St.; at 7:54 p.m. Saturday at 27 Union St.; at 22:33 a.m. Saturday at 119 Lewis St., Apt. 15.

Theft
A report of shoplifting at 11:01 a.m. Friday at 40 Federal St.; at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Stop & Shop Supermarket at 35 Washington St.

A report of larceny at 5:42 a.m. Friday at 44 Essex St.; at 10:24 a.m. at Red Rock Park on Lynn Shore Dr.; at 12:26 p.m. Friday at 129 Union St.; at 3:03 p.m. Friday at 51 Central Ave.; at 9:05 a.m. Saturday at 119 Lewis St., unit 16.

A motor vehicle theft was reported at 10:39 a.m. on Friday at 9 South St.; at 11:57 a.m. Friday at 70 Herschel St.; at 5:33 p.m. Friday at Goldthwait and Goodridge streets.


Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 7:46 p.m. Friday at 52 Raddin Grove Ave. #2; at 8:41 a.m. Sunday at 41 Light St.

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 10:17 a.m. Saturday at 126 Franklin St., Apt. 2.; at 01:07 a.m. Sunday at 88 Franklin St.


NAHANT

Animals

At 3:09 p.m. on Friday, a caller on Summer Street reported a loose dog. An officer reunited the dog with its owner.

Complaints

A caller at 12:20 a.m. on Friday reported a white pickup truck parked in the vicinity of Nahant and Swallow Cave roads with 3-4 youths with flashlights walking around.

An Emerald Road resident called at 1:52 p.m. on Friday to report a white Acura had been speeding through town and passing four cars on the wrong side of the road. The caller said the car was reportedly on its way to Tudor Beach.

A Willow Road resident reported loud music coming from the Oceanview area at 11:50 p.m. on Friday. A dispatched officer reported that the music had been turned down.

Suspicious Activity

An officer was dispatched to Reading Cooperative Bank on Nahant Road at 7:28 p.m. on Friday after a caller reported that a red car pulled into the bank parking lot and two men, one carrying a firearm, ran across the street. Officers apprehended the party at Nahant and Wilson roads; a replica AR-15 BB rifle was found on the rocks nearby. Carlos Zacarias Lopez, 21, of Lynn and Mario Chilel, 18, of Lynn were both issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

At 3:23 p.m. on Saturday a caller reported a Jeep Liberty with Pennsylvania plates parked at the Tot Lot on the Nahant Causeway. The inhabitants appeared to be inebriated. Officers arrived to find nobody in the car, and the vehicle was towed.
