LYNN — An 81-year-old Lynn man was hospitalized after he was struck by a truck Wednesday morning on Lynn Shore Drive, police said.
The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the crash, which occurred northbound at the intersection of Wave Street at 6:17 a.m., police said.
The driver of the 2018 GMC Sierra pickup truck, a 61-year-old Marblehead man, stayed on scene after the crash, police said.
The crash is under investigation by the State Police with assistance from its Collision Analysis and Reconstruction and Crime Scene Services teams. No charges have been filed, police said.
