LYNNFIELD – Three people were transported to local hospitals as a result of a three-car crash on Salem Street Sunday evening.
The accident, involving a Ford F250 pickup truck, a Honda Civic, and a Ford Fusion, happened in front of the Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub at 317 Salem Street at approximately 5:20 p.m. As a result of the crash, the Ford truck flipped over.
Lynnfield Fire Department Chief Glenn Davis said that four people in total were evaluated for injuries. Two of them were transported to the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. Another person went to the Salem Hospital.
One of the drivers was a Wakefield High School student, which was confirmed by her father, who arrived at the scene shortly after the crash.
At the time of the interview, around 6 p.m., Davis did not have information about the types of injuries or ages of those involved in the accident.
