To the editor:
We would like to thank all of Lynnfield for wishing us a happy 70th wedding anniversary, and for congratulating George on his 95th birthday.
So many people sent beautiful cards with gracious and joyful sentiments. They were such a pleasure to open and enjoy.
A women’s group came with a crate of goodies, balloons, and a huge sign and Girl Scouts Troop 82559 hand wrote and drew pictures on cards. They will go into a memory box and someday, when our three sons open it, they will affirm they grew up in a great town.
We thank everyone for their thoughtfulness and friendship.
