LYNN — Four new officers were sworn into the Lynn Police Department Monday morning.
The department’s newest recruits — Nicholas Costa, Giovanni Lorenzet-Marin, Kathryn Murray, and Mark Wabrek — took their oath during a ceremony held at the Lynn police station.
Mayor Thomas M. McGee and Police Chief Christopher P. Reddy were in attendance to welcome the new officers, who will be on patrol by the end of this week.
The addition brings the Lynn Police Department’s force to 186, according to Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec.
