WENHAM — A 31-year-old Lynn man was killed in a car crash that occurred early Monday morning on Route 128 northbound in Wenham, State Police said.
Gilbert Kemei died after the 2017 Toyota Camry he was driving veered off the road and entered the wood line of the highway, State Police said.
Kemei, the car’s only occupant, was declared dead at the scene, State Police said.
The facts and circumstances of the crash are under investigation by Troop A of the Massachusetts State Police with assistance from the State Police Crime Scene Services Section and Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Wenham and Beverly Police and Fire departments and a Salem State University police officer, who was the first to observe the aftermath of the crash, State Police said.
