The No. 7 Bishop Fenwick volleyball team won three straight sets against No. 26 Pembroke on Thursday to get into the Round of 16 in the Division 3 bracket.
The Crusaders got quality play from senior captain Sophia Pregent as well as sophomore Lacey Murphy.
Bishop Fenwick will play No. 10 Austin Prep in the Round of 16.

While Sharon advanced to the Round of 32, the Patriots went home disappointed.

No. 15 Notre Dame Academy 3, No. 18 Marblehead 1
Even though it was able to win a set, Marblehead had its season come to an end on Thursday.
Keira Sweetnam was outstanding for Marblehead with 15 kills, 12 digs and five aces. Nicolette Teti and Lilah Thompson each added another seven kills.

Division 1 Preliminary Round
No. 33 Saugus 2, No. 32 Sandwich 1
After giving up a goal in the first half, the Sachems battled back to tie the game with 16 minutes left and they took the lead with five minutes left in the match.
Saugus plays top-seeded Norwell in the Round of 32.
Division 3 Preliminary Round
No. 24 Lynnfield 5, No. 41 Greater Lowell 0
The Pioneers dominated Greater Lowell and with a comfortable lead was able to give some playing time to their reserves.
Lynnfield plays No. 9 Austin Prep on Saturday.
No. 27 St. Paul Diocesan 6, No. 36 Revere 0
The Patriots struggled on the night and saw their season come to an end.
BOYS SOCCER
Division 3 Preliminary Round
No. 34 Oakmont 2, No. 31 St. Mary’s 1
The Spartans lost in heartbreaking fashion as Oakmont found the winning goal in overtime.
Anthony Gomez scored the lone goal for St. Mary’s, while Ryan Fraher had one assist.
Division 1 Preliminary Round
No. 33 Central Catholic 2, No. 32 Revere 1
Both sides scored goals in the first half and the score stayed at 1-1 up until the clock expired. In overtime, Central Catholic scored off a deflection and ended Revere’s season.

With the loss, the Magicians’ season comes to an end while Norwood advances to the Round of 16.
