November 8, 2021 by Hannah Chadwick

LYNN — One person was injured Monday night after a bus collided with a scooter on Boston Street, according to the fire department.

Fire Chief Stephen Archer said he did not respond to the scene, but heard the crash come over emergency dispatch. He said the call came in for a scooter that was hit by a bus.

“Our safety officer was in the area; he took the incident, and on arrival he said it was a minor incident,” said Archer.

Lynn Police Officer Thomas Hazard said the person who was injured refused a transport to the hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
