To the editor:
I would like to thank the Lynn police officer who stayed with me until a tow truck came to lift my car off the curb next to Santander Bank on Western Avenue. Other people helped, including a young woman who tried to call AAA, and my friends from church — Joe Brown and Marty Splaine — who dropped by to help. We still have kind, good people who are willing to help. Thank you, one and all.
