SAUGUS — The Town of Saugus will offer a COVID-19 vaccination clinic Thursday, Dec. 16, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Senior Center at 466 Central St.

The clinic, announced Thursday by Town Manager Scott Crabtree and the town’s Board of Health, is for children, adults and seniors. It will offer Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines, if available, for those eligible from 5 years old and above needing their first, second, or booster shots.

Those interested should book an appointment online to allow for faster service. The Saugus Health Department can also assist and answer any questions that residents may have at 781-231-4117.

“Access and availability to the COVID-19 vaccinations continues to be a priority of this administration,” Crabtree said. “Saugus will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our residents and look for ways to expand access to the vaccinations.”

Saugus residents are encouraged to book an appointment by visiting https://home.color.com/vaccine/register/cataldo?calendar=0e622661-7403-4f94-98f6-7aa6a7aa9e9f.

Appointments will be subject to the availability of vaccine doses, which are provided by the state.

“We hope Saugus residents and their families will take advantage of this additional opportunity to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations in a convenient and easy-to-access manner. The pandemic has been difficult for everyone, and we are proud to help provide protection to our community through this important initiative,” Crabtree said.

For more information about the clinic, call the Saugus Health Department at 781-231-4117 or register online.
