PEABODY ― Care Dimensions, the largest hospice and palliative-care provider in the state, has appointed Tanya Cesar of Peabody as its clinical manager on the North Shore.
In her new role, Cesar will oversee clinical care teams serving patients in their homes and in long-term care, assisted-living and group-home settings.
“For years, I have watched how Care Dimensions’ employees care for their patients at the end of life and how they always offered skilled nursing facilities their support,” Cesar said.
“I really appreciated the way they worked together as a team, so I’m excited to be here and get started.”
Cesar received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Salem State University, and is a certified wound nurse who has experience working in skilled nursing facilities, most recently as a rehab unit manager.
Cesar told the Item that this was her first time working in palliative care and has been with the company for over two months. She says she enjoys her work at Care Dimensions because she felt she could help those in need.
“It feels great that everybody is willing to help those in need,” Cesar said. “We make sure that we give care to those who are concerned that they can’t have it.”
