LYNN — Two men were arraigned in Lynn District Court on Thursday afternoon for charges related to the assault and murder of a Saugus man.

Steaven Delgado and Mac Jean Laterion, both 20, were behind a chalkboard in court, but their attorneys pleaded not guilty on their behalf and they are being held without bail. Both are charged with murder and assault to murder.

Laterion also appeared in Roxbury Municipal Court in April 2021 for charges of destruction of property, which was mentioned during the arraignment in support of him being held without bail.

Delgado was represented by Attorney Rajarshi Sinha and Laterion was represented by Attorney John Morris.

A probable cause hearing is scheduled for March 4.

Michael Norton, 26, was found dead by family members on Dec. 11 at his Saugus apartment at 44 Collins Ave., which is listed as the Essex Landing apartment complex.

When officers responded to Norton’s apartment, they found him tied up and beaten to death.

Three others have also been arraigned for Norton’s murder.

Jorge Delgado Medina was arraigned for the murder in Lynn District Court on Jan. 5 and is also being held without bail, but will return to court for a probable cause hearing on Feb. 15.

Kiara Rosario, 26, of Chelsea was arraigned on Dec. 31 for accessory after the fact of unarmed robbery. She was ordered held on $50,000 bail and to remain under house arrest with a GPS-monitoring device if she posts bail.

Angjeliki Hodaj, 33, of Saugus was arraigned for murder on Dec. 17 and remains held without bail.

The Essex District Attorney’s Office, the Saugus Police Department and the Essex State Police Detective Unit continue to investigate.
