LYNN — A 3-year-old boy is in stable condition after being hit by a car on Bulfinch Street Thursday night, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
Shortly after 9 p.m., the child was getting out of the car with his mother when a car struck the child and then fled the scene. The mother was not hit by the car, Kmiec said.
The child was transported to Salem Hospital with a leg injury and was later taken by med-flight to a Boston hospital. The boy was in stable condition on Friday, Kmiec said.
The crash is still under investigation.
