LYNN β A Fays Avenue household lost their shed to an hour-long fire Sunday morning.
The Lynn Fire Department received a call about a shed on fire at 190 Fays Ave. at 8:34 a.m., said District Chief Joseph Zukas. Three engines, a ladder and a District Chief responded to the fire.
βIt took three (water) lines to put it out,β said Zukas. βEverything in the shed was totally destroyed.β
No one was injured as a result of the fire. The firefighters worked for about an hour to extinguish the fire.
The fire seems to be accidental as there was a stove in the shed, said Zukas. It destroyed the large shed completely.
There were mostly tools in the shed, Zukas said. He estimated the damage at $5,000 to $10,000, depending on what else was in the shed.Β
The main house was not affected by the fire.
