PEABODY — A second suspect in a fatal shooting in the city was arraigned on Tuesday in Peabody District Court.
Donald Frost, 31, of Merrimac was charged with armed robbery, larceny and accessory after the fact in connection with the shooting of Prince Thompson, 25 of Peabody, on Jan. 23, according to the Essex District Attorney’s office.
Judge James Barretto ordered Frost held on $50,000 bail.
Charles Burgess, 26, of Peabody was arraigned for murder on Jan. 24 and ordered held without bail, the DA’s office said.
On Jan. 23, at around 9:41 p.m., Peabody Police responded to 78 Wallis St. for a reported shooting. They found the victim, Thompson, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Salem Hospital where he died of his injuries, the DA’s office said.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for March 17.
