To the editor:
I am totally appalled at the condition of the potholes on North Common Street in Lynn. So far, I have owned two automobiles in the city and potholes have done considerable damage to both cars.
One pothole damaged the entire front axle of my 2012 Mazda. The other damaged my 2015 Toyota Corolla.
I have recently purchased a 2015 Honda, truly an amazing car. But since the bicycle lanes were incorporated on North Common, I feel that I might have the same problems in the future.
Can the city find some way to repair North Common and South Common streets or at least fill in the offending potholes? I will be driving only on Western Avenue until these roadways can be repaired.
I’m sorry, but my job has obligations that entail traveling. I hope this letter receives attention from the appropriate city offices.
