Law enforcement officers posing online as sex-for-hire escorts snared six men, including Lynn, Revere, and Saugus residents, who came to a Revere hotel “after previously culminating an agreement for commercial sex with the undercover officers,” State Police said in a press release.
John Fornoh, 26, of Lynn; Joewy Villanueva, 37, of Revere, and Jesus Anyosa, 44, of Saugus, were arrested on Wednesday and charged with sexual conduct for a fee, according to the release. The other men arrested live in Braintree, Lawrence, and Melrose.
The arrests were part of a law enforcement operation designed to reduce demand for commercial sex conducted by the State Police High Risk Victim Unit, Revere Police Department, Boston Police Department Human Trafficking Unit, the Plymouth Country Sheriff’s Department, and the FBI Human Trafficking and Violent Crime task forces.
“The Massachusetts State Police and its local and federal law enforcement partners are committed to the apprehension of perpetrators of sexual exploitation and the safe recovery of victims of sex trafficking,” the release stated.
