Letter: Sanctions and talk versus action on Ukraine

The Editors

March 7, 2022 by The Editors

To the editor:

Dear Congressman Moulton: What good are sanctions and talk when Vladimir Putin is killing everyone in the Ukraine and who threatens nuclear war?

He risks starting one by attacking the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, located in the Ukraine. We must take action. The United States, NATO, the United Nations, the European Union, and all our allies have to stop Vladimir Putin before it gets worse, as it did in Europe under Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and in the Middle East with Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.
