WELLESLEY — Revere native and MassBay Community College men’s basketball first-year guard Crisrael Lithgow has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 21 All-Region Third Team for the 2021-22 season.

Lithgow, a 2021 graduate and standout basketball player for Revere High School, had an excellent first season with the MassBay Buccaneers. The dynamic guard averaged 20.2 points per game (fourth in Region 21) and led the team with 43 3-pointers. In addition, Lithgow ranked in the top-20 in the region in field goals made, 3-point field goals made, 3-point percentage and assist-to-turnover ratio.

“I am very proud of Crisrael and all that he accomplished this season,” said MassBay men’s basketball head coach Darryl Hilliard. “He got better and better as the season went on, and he became a leader for our team. I am very excited to have him back next season.”

“Crisrael is a tremendous representative of our men’s basketball program,” said MassBay Director of Athletics, Recreation, and Wellness Adam Nelson. “Not only was he fun to watch on the court, he had a ton of success in the classroom and is a leader off the court.”

Lithgow is studying business administration and is scheduled to graduate MassBay in May 2023.
