The Commonwealth Athletic Conference unveiled its list of swimming all-stars and award winners for the 2021-22 season on Thursday, and the Lynn Tech Tigers were rewarded for their strong season with a staggering 12 all-star selections.

It was a special year for the Tigers, who hit a number of milestones over the course of the season. The year got started with a bang when Tech opened the season by knocking off perennial power Greater Lowell for the first time in 20 years, and things only got better from there. The Tigers went on to win the CAC Small Division regular season title, and they capped the year with a second-place finish at the annual Lynn City Swim Meet.

As far as all-star selections are concerned, the selections for the Tigers were Addisyn Brown, Aleya Hill, Morgan Bourgeois, Lee Lewis, Isabella Celona, Kailey Brown, Zakariya Bidoudane, Brandon Zarate, Colin Donovan, Mario Rivera, Alberto Gerardo and Jeremiah Arozala.

Mystic Valley was the only school that sported more all-star selections than Tech, taking home 19 selections. Among those were the two CAC MVP selections in Deanna Guo and Jeremy Cheng, while Mystic Valley’s Andrew Digiacomo was named CAC Coach of the Year. Shawsheen Tech took home the Sportsmanship Award.

The rest of the CAC all-star selections for the 2021-22 season were Devon Kruger, Jack Daskalakis, Maren Buckmelter and Alexandria Linarte (Minuteman); Owen McGhee, Michael Miller, Olivia Tortora and Delia Edmonds (Northeast); Britney Nayiga, Isabella Cirame, Lana Albuquerque, Crystal Tang, Lucia Antonucci, Miriam Johannes, Makda Johannes, Rupa Raj, Aiden Acuna-Rosa, Armando Indresano, Jason Yan, Ramy El-Aafer, Dylan Phan, Jaden Anthony, Thomas Sodeyama Cardoso, Kevin Sodeyama Cardoso and Adrian Chang (Mystic Valley); Jesus Santiago, Margaret Sifferlen and Tyre’Anna Metheny-Kennedy (Greater Lawrence); Ryan Hughes and Alexa Palladino (Greater Lowell); Angela Rossini, Ben Canny and Eric Mann (Blue Hill); Luke Williams (Lowell Catholic); Aidan Singh, Kevin Stevens, Anthony Bastianelli, Nate Barnes, Dan Penney, Jared Kreuger and Eliot Hong (Shawsheen).
