Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 1:13 p.m. Monday at 154 Washington St. One person was taken to Salem Hospital. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 8:54 a.m. Tuesday at 56 Central St. Edna Lima, 54, of 264 Washington St., was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a license. 

Complaints 

At 7:51 p.m. Monday, a caller reported being concerned about chickens getting out at Brooksby Farm at 54 Felton St. Police spoke with their primary contact from the farm, who said it was typical for chickens to get out and go back into their area. No police action was required. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 9:01 a.m. Tuesday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive. A front-desk employee reported a guest said an employee stole their cellphone. 

A larceny was reported at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday at 1 Fountain St. A stolen package was reported.

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with injury at 2:12 p.m. Monday at 340 Essex St. One person was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:04 p.m. Monday at Shops at Saugus at 358 Broadway.

Complaints 

A report of suspicious activity at 12:44 a.m. Tuesday at 64 Jasper St. A caller reported three men got out of a white van that was parked in front of his home. He said the men were working in the road and thought it was suspicious. Police reported the men were from a water company that was doing work in the street.
