Bridgewater State junior catcher/designated player Madison Dana was one of six Bears players to earn Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) all-conference honors this week, getting named as a First-Team All-Conference selection.
Dana, a Lynn native and graduate of Lynn Classical, appeared in 31 games this season — including 15 at designated player, eight at catcher and 13 as a pinch hitter. She batted .348 (24-69) with a home run, five doubles and 16 RBI to go along with a .382 on base percentage and a .464 slugging percentage.
Dana is currently tied for seventh in the MASCAC in sacrifice flies (2).
