LYNN — Police responded to reports of a body that was found at the intersection of Mt. Vernon and Exchange Streets at around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Police have not yet identified the body. However, on May 23, friends of 26-year-old Lauren (Lulu) Jean Christy posted a missing person notice on Facebook, asking anyone who has seen her to contact the police.
Friends constructed a sidewalk memorial at the site where the body was found, featuring notes from Christy’s friends and family, candles, and stuffed animals.
Police said the body’s discovery is still under investigation.
