LYNN — George Markos, the owner of Brothers Deli, appeared on this week’s episode of “The American Dream,” a show hosted by Lynn-based attorney James Carrigan, to discuss how Markos is the “quintessential” example of the American dream.
The show, which airs Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m., Fridays at 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays at 7:00 a.m. on Comcast Channel 3 and Verizon Channel 38, is “designed to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how public and private policy is developed,” according to Carrigan.
Markos and Carrigan’s conversation ran just under a half-hour, and began with a discussion of Markos’s life growing up in Greece.
The previous week’s episode featured a conversation with Michael Goldman, a communications consultant and the president of Goldman Associates, which is based in Marblehead. On Goldman’s episode, the two discussed politics.
The episode featuring Goldman, which aired June 8, marked the show’s first episode since March 16, when Jetta Bernier, the executive director of MassKids, and Patrick Tutwiler, Lynn superintendent of schools, appeared to discuss sexual abuse prevention.
