SALEM —  North Shore will celebrate Pride Month by having its 10th anniversary of its Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, June 25.

Starting at noon, the parade will begin at Shetland Park and end at the Salem Common, following a route through the Downtown District. The LGBTQ Festival will be held at the Salem Common from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. This Festival will offer community services, merchandise, entertainment, and food trucks for this all-day celebration. Festival organizers will be raising the largest Progress Flag on the North Shore.

North Shore will be hosting a Pride After Party from 5-7 p.m. at the Marina Beer Garden in Salem. For those who are under 21, North Shore Alliance of GLBTQ+ Youth (NAGLY) will be hosting a Pride Youth After Party. The Peabody Essex Museum will be hosting a Rainbow Sponge Posters art event, on both Saturday and Sunday from 1-3 p.m and will be highlighting their special edition Skittle Pride Packets.

To finish out the weekend Pride strong, food will be available with a Drag Brunch at the Derby Restaurant from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m in Salem. There is going to be a performance hosted by North Shore Pride featuring one of Salem’s favorite Drag Queens, Mizery McRae.

North Shore Pride is loud and proud to be back with these great events and activities.
