The sound of summer at Red Rock Park

LYNN — The Friends of Lynn & Nahant Beach are inviting the community to pull up a lawn chair and enjoy a summer of live music with the Concert Series at Red Rock Park.

The Concert Series’ 25th year begins on July 3 with Lois Lane & the Daily Planets performing from 7 to 9 p.m., before the Lynn fireworks show. The series continues from July 14 to Aug. 18 with concerts on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.

There is a concert for everyone, with bands ranging in genre from blues to rock, R&B to funk. Bands set to perform are 5th Gear, Shuffle Mode, All That 90’s, Richie Rich & 24 Karat Funk, White Lightnin’, and the 12:01 Blues Band.

The Concert Series is hosted by the Friends of Lynn & Nahant Beach in partnership with the Department of Conservation and Recreation and Save the Harbor/Save the Bay Better Beaches Program.
