On Monday, July 4, the Fay’s Estate neighborhood will host its 80th annual block party, one of many neighborhood events throughout the city, kicking off at 8:30 a.m. on Fays Street.

Also on Monday, Lynn’s Ward 1 will host an event at Gowdy Park, with the festivities set to begin at 9 a.m. In past years, the event has featured youth races, a costume parade, horses, and a clown.

LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield Athletic Association is hosting a Fourth of July 5k Road Race, which will take place Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. beginning at Town Hall. The town will also be home to the Pillings Pond boat parade, which kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at Pillings Pond.
