MARBLEHEAD — Two people were arrested Sunday morning for allegedly breaking into a motor vehicle on Washington Street, police said.
Kristina Koplien, 25, of Revere, and Matthew Leonard, 26, also of Revere, are charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property less than $1,200, and receiving a stolen credit card, Chief Dennis King said in a statement.
Officers responded to the area at approximately 10 a.m. Sunday for a report of a motor vehicle break-in. Within minutes of responding, officers observed two individuals matching the description given by the caller, and conducted brief surveillance before arresting Koplien and Leonard, the statement said.
