LYNN — Lynn District Court Presiding Justice Hon. Matthew J. Nestor appeared on this week’s episode of “The American Dream,” a show hosted by Attorney James J. Carrigan, to provide an update on the court.
The show, which airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., and Saturdays at 7 a.m. on Comcast Channel 3 and Verizon Channel 38, is “designed to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how public and private policy is developed,” according to Carrigan.
The conversation between Nestor and Carrigan ran just under half-an-hour and began with a discussion of Nestor’s day-to-day responsibilities as the presiding judge at Lynn District Court.
“Presiding judge in a District Court, it’s nice to have the title, but in many ways, it is just a title,” Nestor said. “I sort of decide in the morning which judge is going to sit in which session.”
