Lynnfield’s football team was bested by Triton, 27-21, in a close game at Pioneer Stadium. It was a defensive stalemate early, but Robert Marley energized Lynnfield with his running game and found the endzone in the second quarter. Kevin Julian pitched in with timely plays at the receiver spot, and Jack Calichman shined in the return game. Kevin Connelly and James Sharkey also played well in the loss. Triton ultimately made more plays than the Pioneers according to Lynnfield Head coach Pat Lamusta. “We just needed to do better against the run,” Lamusta said. “Ultimately, Triton made a few big plays towards the end that they needed.”
